The entrance is through a ramshackle furniture shop; I walk between tables into the back and up the stairs. We're in the middle of Zurich's old town, where cheek-by-jowl buildings with uneven floors and low doorways are de rigueur; having the opportunity to snoop around one is an unusual treat.
