Laleh June Galerie is very pleased to announce the first solo exhibition “Marc Rembold Light in Colour” series. The exhibition centers around the “Light in Colour Changing Colour” paintings.

Rembold since early 1980s has started to develop his artistic language with his own colour concept “Light in Colour”, defined as living colours, which they change colour with the temperature of the light. This perception of light and ”changing colour living colour” was quite futuristic in the late of 1980s and inspired and approved later by varnish car industry and fashion.

Marc Rembold is one of the pionier of his time with his fascination for ”changing” and living interactive colours.

Once in front of a “Light in Colour” the viewer is taken by colour change. His work, organized by series – Light in Colour, Glamour, Liquids, 3D, Deja-vu Objects, Pure Pigments, Light Sculptures and more – underlines Marc Rembold self-proclaimed “Glamoury Pop Art Kitsch”. Rembold expresses a very personal connections to art history, fashion, pop and electro music. Since early 2000s he has exhibited Swiss and internationally US, Asia and Middle East.

Marc Rembold lives and works in Basel, Switzerland.
