Galleria Emi Fontana, Milan and West of Rome, Pasadena at Art Basel

Galleria Emi Fontana, Milano together with West of Rome, Pasadena is proud to announce its tenth participation to Art Basel and the related projects organized for the event.

A great selection of works from the artists represented by Galleria Emi Fontana/West of Rome —Monica Bonvicini, Sam Durant, Liam Gillick, Renée Green, Mike Kelley, Ketty La Rocca, Lovett/Codagnone, Liliana Moro, Adrian Piper, Sterling Ruby, Michael Smith, Diana Thater, Rirkrit Tiravanija, Luca Vitone, John Waters— will be shown at Stand U1, Hall 2.1, opening Tuesday, June 9.

Sterling Ruby's sculpture Grid Ripper will be presented at the Art Unlimited section opening Monday, June 8. Grid Ripper is a sculptural work composed of large geometric forms made of Formica, which have been spray-painted as if they were vandalized. Grid Ripper was previously shown at GAMeC, Bergamo in Ruby's first solo exhibition in a European museum.
Sterling Ruby's recently published JRP monograph will be launched within the Art Lobby's program of talks in Hall 1 on Thursday 11 June between 5:00 and 5:30 pm.

Galleria Emi Fontana wishes to announce that a further communication "Shifting Time Zone" will be released in July, disclosing the new challenges engaged by the gallery as well as the changes in the modality of the exhibition activity and of the artists' promotion and sales.
