FIAC is now accepting applications for the 2018 edition of the fair.

The 45th FIAC will be held in Paris from Thursday, October 18 to Sunday, October 21, 2018 in the Grand Palais, the Petit Palais, on the Avenue Winston Churchill and in its different Hors les Murs sites including the Tuileries Garden of the Louvre Museum, the Place Vendôme and the Musée national Eugène Delacroix. The vernissage will take place on Wednesday, October 17.

FIAC Galleries—Grand Palais—General Sector & Lafayette Sector
FIAC’s General Sector will feature some 180 galleries specialising in modern and contemporary art presenting a balanced panorama of the artistic creation from modern masters to the most emerging trends.

Galleries will be deployed in the exceptional spaces of the Grand Palais: the Nave on the ground floor together with the Salon d’honneur, the Salon Jean Perrin and the Upper Galleries on the first floor.

The Lafayette Sector, a programme launched in 2009 by FIAC and the Groupe Galeries Lafayette, Official Sponsor, is designed to showcase galleries of the young generation. The Lafayette Sector provides significant funding for a group of ten galleries, founded in 2008 or after, and selected by an independent jury on the basis of the quality of their exhibition programme and a project, including one or two emerging artists, proposed specifically for FIAC 2018.

Application forms are available for completion online and will be open until Tuesday, March 20.

For all queries relating to your applications, please contact the Exhibitor Relations service.

FIAC Projects (On Site Sector)—Petit Palais, Avenue Winston Churchill & in the environs of the Grand Palais
Launched in 2016 and situated in the exceptional exhibitions spaces of the Petit Palais, on the Avenue Winston Churchill and in the environs of the Grand Palais, FIAC Projects presents around 40 sculptures and installations. This year, FIAC is pleased to announce that the 2018 guest curator of the sector will be Marc-Olivier Wahler (Director of the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University).

FIAC Hors Les Murs—Tuileries Garden of the Louvre Museum, Musée Delacroix & Place Vendôme
The programme of outdoor sculptures and installations is presented in the Tuileries Garden and the Musée national Eugène Delacroix in collaboration with the Louvre Museum. The selection committee is presided by Vincent Pomarède (Chief Curator, Director of Mediation and Cultural Programming of the Louvre Museum), and is composed by members of the curatorial staff of the Louvre Museum; Bernard Blistène (Director of the Centre Pompidou); Jean de Loisy (President of the Palais de Tokyo) and Guy Tosatto (Chief Curator, Director of the Grenoble Museum).

One of the highlights of FIAC Hors les Murs will again be a carte blanche extended to an artist for the prestigious venue of the Place Vendôme.

Application forms for FIAC Projects and FIAC Hors les Murs will be available for completion online mid-February and will be open until Saturday, June 30.
