Now accepting applications for the 2016 edition of the fair. The 20th anniversary edition of Paris Photo will be held Thursday, November 10 through Sunday, November 13 at the historic Grand Palais.

The vernissage will take place on Wednesday, November 9.

Celebrating 20 years in Paris, the birthplace of photography, Paris Photo will host over 140 international galleries showcasing both historical and contemporary works from modern masters to emerging artists offering the largest and most important panorama of the photographic medium today.

The Prismes sector, launched in 2015, will feature selected galleries with exceptional projects including large-formats, series and installation works in a curated show exploring the uses of the photographic medium in its most diverse forms and practices.

The Book sector will gather specialized art book dealers and publishers presenting unique and rare editions as well as release launches and artist signature sessions.

Exhibitors will fill the exceptional spaces of the Grand Palais including the Main sector in the nave and the prestigious Prismes sector in Salon d’Honneur on the upper floor.

Applications for the three sectors are available online through Wednesday, April 20.

Paris Photo anniversary programming
Paris Photo celebrates art and the photographic medium in all its states and forms in conjunction with the 20 years of the Fair in Paris, photography’s birthplace and historic center. Public programming includes curated exhibitions with renowned public and private institutions, the Platform cycle of conversations, the Paris Photo-Aperture Foundation PhotoBook Awards, and special events exploring the unique history of the medium; varying visions, practices and emerging trends.
