Barcelona Gallery Weekend is an art tour for enthusiasts, collectors, professionals and artists. It is destined to become a major annual event in Barcelona: lasting four days, during which Barcelona will showcase its vibrant art scene, the work of more than 60 distinguished artists will be on view in 40 art spaces.

21 of the city’s avant-garde and contemporary art galleries will simultaneously open their doors to show their best programmes.

Programme of site-specific projects: Compositions
Under the direction of the curatorial team Latitudes, this programme consists of five temporary projects in singular locations, produced by artists who are either from Barcelona or work in the city.

ARCO gallery walk
The ARCO gallery walk is a joint initiative of the ARCO Foundation and Barcelona Gallery Weekend, offering free guided tours of participating galleries for the purpose of introducing the public to the work of the featured artists.

Parallel programme
Some non-profit spaces and organizations join the programme to provide another perspective of art from their realms of work and investigation by presenting artists who are not necessarily regulars in the local scene.
