LAND (Los Angeles Nomadic Division) will host its 3rd Annual LAND Benefit Gala to take place at the home of Catharine and Jeffrey Soros on Saturday, September 29, 2012 from 7–10pm. An After Party will follow at the Andaz West Hollywood from 9pm–2am.

The evening will be co-chaired by Lori DeWolfe, Stephen Maguire, Shamim M. Momin, Thao Nguyen, Cameron Silver, Catharine and Jeffrey Soros, Erin Wasson, and Artist Honoree George Herms. Artist Ruben Ochoa will design the table centerpieces and Lulu Powers will craft the cuisine for the evening.

The evening is the culmination of an auction of a select group of artists, presented online by Paddle8. Bidding begins on September 5, 2012 at www.paddle8.com/forgood/landgala. Auction artists include Hernan Bas, Joe Bradley, Dan Colen, Mark Grotjahn, George Herms, Alex Hubbard, Terence Koh, Amanda Ross-Ho, Garth Weiser, and Jonas Wood. The online auction will go live at 5pm PST (8pm EST) on September 5th and will end at 10pm PST (1am EST) on September 29th.

The 3rd Annual LAND Benefit Gala is supported by Interview Magazine, Andaz West Hollywood, Art Platform–Los Angeles, Beck’s Beer, Casa Dragones, Conway Family Wines, Evolutionary Media Group, Paddle8, Paper Chase, Short Cake, The Auto Gallery Porsche and Vineyard 7 and 8.

Kim, Associate Curator of Contemporary Art at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), as a non-profit public art organization committed to curating site- and situation-specific contemporary art projects in Los Angeles and beyond.
