Within the network of professional art agents is the figure of the collector. The speed on contemporary art and its multiple forms and time leads to the development of new ideas on how to understand what is a contemporary art collection. The figure of the collector is adapted to the rhythms of artists, works, possibilities and at the same time, shows lines of work, intentions and desires.

A collection is a series of writing stories, perspectives and questions, define approaches to places and moments. In a world defined by the visual culture, art collections become portraits of the moment, starting points for possible futures.

espacio trapézio see that the artistic network needs of internal communications between different nodes, requires the presence of their agents for the establishment of dialogues, debates for a real transfer of information that will improve the current situation.

espacio trapézio  host an activity of The Rich Collection, a collection of contemporary art that includes works by stablished artists like Jonathan Meese, Raymond Pettibon, Nathalie Djurberg, and emerging ones like Momu & Noes, Cristina Llanos or Abdul Vas.
