The 37th edition of Art Brussels will be held from April 25 to April 28, 2019, at Tour & Taxis, in the heart of Brussels. This beautiful location, with natural, northern daylight enhancing the presentation of the works of art, offers a great atmosphere to galleries and visitors.

Art Brussels, contemporary since 1968, is one of Europe’s best established art fairs, while always retaining its youthful profile. In line with the interests and curiosities of collectors, Art Brussels encourages galleries to play with the element of surprise.  The fair brings together emerging talent and established artists, in the following sections:

DISCOVERY
Focussing on emerging or lesser-known artists showing recent creations (2016–19). The project should be a real discovery. The emphasis lies on the project itself, not the age of the gallery. Stand size: 25 square meters. The gallery awarded with the best Discovery booth receives 5,000 EUR.

REDISCOVERY
Dedicated to art from the 20th century, by living or deceased artists who have not necessarily entered the art historical mainstream. The project can highlight an unknown art practice of a more famous artist or show works created by no more than three artists who have fallen off the radar and deserve to be in the spotlight again. Stand size: 30m² (232ft²)

PRIME
This is the main section of the fair. Galleries apply with established and mid-career artists from their programmes. Stand sizes: from 37.5 square meters through 100 square meters.

SOLO
Galleries applying in PRIME or REDISCOVERY can extend their stand with a SOLO presentation, dedicated to a project created by a single artist. Stand size: 25 square meters. The artist awarded with the SOLO Prize will receive 10,000 EUR.

On top of this, all participating galleries will be invited to send a proposal (free of charge) for a large-scale outdoor sculpture, presented at the site of Art Brussels 2019.

Apply today for your participation in Art Brussels, a player in the international art market for over 50 years, attracting more and more dedicated collectors, curators and art lovers, year after year.

Applications must be completed online by Tuesday, October 16, 2018.
