ATHR Gallery is proud to present its 7th edition of YSA—an open call for talented young emerging artists and, for the first time, the call is globally open to all creatives around the world. As Saudi Arabia celebrates the year of Arabic calligraphy, our theme for this year aims to appreciate and celebrate the importance accorded to Arabic calligraphy.
For this occasion, ATHR is looking into contemporary expressions of calligraphy and for artists who work across a range of styles, engaging with the medium and its history. ATHR team and a group of leading judges will carefully select applicants, whose works will be presented in a highly-sought out group exhibition on November 2021.
