The General Sector will feature over 175 galleries deployed in four spaces: the Nave on the ground floor together with the Salon d’honneur, the Upper Galleries and the Salon Jean Perrin on the first floor. The Upper Galleries also host the ten exhibitors comprising the Lafayette Sector.

FIAC 2018 is highlighted by the return of 13 international galleries: Hauser & Wirth (London, Somerset, New York, Los Angeles, Hong Kong, Zürich); Gmurzynska (Zürich, St. Moritz); The Breeder (Athens); Canada (New York); Ghebaly Gallery (Los Angeles); High Art (Paris); Rodolphe Janssen (Brussels); Paul Kasmin (New York); Modern Art (London); Salon 94 (New York); Tim Van Laere (Antwerp); Tucci Russo (Torino); Anne de Villepoix (Paris), and by the inaugural participation of five galleries: 80M2 Livia Benavides (Lima); Antenna Space (Shanghai); Bergamin & Gomide (São Paulo); Gerhardsen Gerner (Oslo, Berlin); Magician Space (Beijing).

The Lafayette Sector, launched in 2009 by FIAC and the Groupe Galeries Lafayette, underlines their joint desire to provide financial support to French and international actors of the emerging art scene.

The 2018 Lafayette selection includes ten dynamic young galleries chosen on the basis of the quality of their exhibition programme and a project proposed specifically for FIAC. They are representative of the vitality of the rising generation and their commitment to the emerging art scene. Five countries are represented: Germany, USA, France, UK and Switzerland. The participants are: Lars Friedrich (Berlin), Queer Thoughts (New York) and Truth and Consequences (Genève) together with 7 exhibitors making their debut at FIAC: Arcadia Missa (London); Sandy Brown (Berlin); Document Space (Chicago); Jan Kaps (Köln); LOMEX (New York); Edouard Montassut (Paris); Bonny Poon (Paris).

FIAC Projects
Launched in 2016, FIAC Projects showcases an exhibition of artworks in the exceptional setting of the Petit Palais and on the Avenue Winston Churchill which will be transformed into a pedestrian zone for the duration of FIAC.

This year, Marc-Olivier Wahler (Director of the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University) is FIAC Project’s guest curator.

FIAC Hors les Murs
FIAC reaffirms its strong cultural mission through the Hors Les Murs programme. A program of artworks—unrivalled in scope in the landscape of international art fairs—will be presented in emblematic Parisian sites: in the Jardin des Tuileries, the Musée National Eugène Delacroix, and on the Place Vendôme.

Applications for FIAC Projects & FIAC Hors les Murs are available until June 30, 2018. For further information, please contact exhibitors [at] fiac.com.
