Paris Photo, the international art fair for photography, welcomes guest of honor, actress and multidisciplinary artist, Rossy de Palma for its 25th anniversary edition in Paris, November 10–13 at the Grand Palais Ephémère. Discover the most important selection of exceptional photographic art and published works in Paris and Online Viewing Rooms—by Artlogic, from 184 leading galeries and art book dealers from 31 countries worldwide featuring 24 solo shows and 14 duo shows.
The Curiosa sector, curated this year by Holly Roussell (Curator, UCCA, Beijing), brings to the foreground new trends in contemporary photographic practice, highlighting interdisciplinarity in image-based art practices as well as photographic explorations in and beyond traditional genres of the medium. The section presents three capsules: experimental and conceptual approaches to image construction, new (self) portraits focusing on personal history and intersecting identities, and current practices in landscape photography. 17 emerging artists from twelve countries are spotlighted for this edition, some of whom exhibit in France for the first time, such as Elliot & Erick Jiménez (SPINELLO Miami), and Pao Houa Her (BOCKLEY Minneapolis).
Paris Photo is a key event for collectors, art world professionals and those passionate about art and photography. Public programming, both on-site, online and throughout Paris, is an essential component of the fair and includes exhibitions, talks, awards, book signings, podcasts, curated fair selections and more.

Elles x Paris Photo
Discover the Elles x Paris Photo fair path honoring the contribution of women in photography. Join path curator Federica Chiocchetti (Director, Musée de Beaux Arts de Locle) on a stroll through the fair to discover through playful and symbolic associations across history and geography 77 women artists from the American Bertha E. Jaques (1863-1941) to the radical German artist Gabriele Stötzer (1953), or pioneering South African artivist Zanele Muholi (1972). Elles x Paris Photo is a program initiated in 2018 in partnership with the French Ministry of Culture, which benefits from the support of Kering / Women In Motion.
Carte Blanche-Students
Congratulations to Sumi Anjiman, Jérémie Danon, Alessandra Leta and Philip Tsetinis selected from over 50 European Art schools and given carte blanche for a large-format exhibition at Paris’ historic Gare de Lyon train station. This year’s award winning projects explore and question racism, belonging, the imaginary, photographic reality and non-binarity. Meet the laureates for a presentation of their portfolios at the fair. Carte Blanche—Students is co-organised by Paris Photo, SNCF Gares & Connexions and Picto Foundation.
Paris Photo-Aperture Foundation PhotoBook Awards
For the tenth year, The PhotoBook Awards celebrate the book’s contribution to the evolving narrative of photography. The winners for categories: first PhotoBook (10,000 dollar prize), PhotoBook of the year, Photography Catalogue of the Year, will be announced at Paris Photo Friday, November 11. The shortlisted books, accompanied by the jury’s comments, will appear online and in a special take-away catalogue, to be released at Paris Photo. Artist talks by The Eyes
The Eyes Magazine continues its cycle of intimate 15-minute talks dedicated to the photographic object and its author with renowned and emerging photographers including Guillaume Herbaut, Seba Kurtis, Laia Abril,Martin Parr, Nigel Shaffran, Raymond Meeks and Stanley Wolukau-Wanambwa, among others, and hosted by Véronique Prugnaud, Marc Feustel, Emilie Lauriola and Pascale Obolo.
Platform Conversations
Experimental forum, the platform proposes a cycle of conversations with leading figures in the field featuring talks on emerging talent led by Curiosa sector curator Holly Roussell, discussions around women in photography organized by Federica Chiocchetti, curator of the Elle x Paris Photo fair path, as well as a series of conversations led by Alain Quemin with a focus on performance art, plus further discussions around new digital practices in photography, the metaverse and NFTs.
IMAGE 3.0 – Centre National des Arts Plastiques (CNAP)
Paris Photo presents IMAGE 3.0, a selection of works from the national photographic commission, an initiative by the CNAP supporting the actors in the field of photography in partnership with the Jeu de Paume. At the crossroads of art and science, the exhibition brings together the most recent digital artistic practices in the field of photography and image.
The Atelier de Restauration et Conservation des Photographes de la Ville de Paris (ARCP)
The City of Paris presents an educational stand featuring the major actions of its photographic conservation-restoration service with a special focus on the specific alterations of photographs. The ARCP preserves and restores the photographic heritage of the City of Paris, which holds more than 16 million photographs in museums, specialized libraries and archives.

Celebrating eleven years of partnership, J.P. Morgan Private Bank exhibits A Different Lens highlights from the JPMorgan Chase Art Collection reflecting 60 years of photographic practice and achievement across a range of subjects, techniques and cultures.
Celebrating 20 years of partnership, BMW, presents BMW ArtMakers with Arash Hanaei & Morad Montazami—Suburban Hantology, an installation featuring still and dematerialized images, video and 3D design to explore complex spaces like the Metaverse through the utopian architecture of the 1970s.
Paris Photo welcomes first time partner Clifford Chance, whose cultural initiatives support both up-and-coming and celebrated international artists. The Maison Ruinart presents Matthieu Gafsou, winner of the fourth edition of the Maison Ruinart Prize with a project subtly evoking contemporary issues in the environment and biodiversity. Éditions Louis Vuitton opens an ephemeral bookstore featuring their City Guide, Travel Book and Fashion Eye collections. LVMH Métiers d’art presentes Passagers, an installation by 2022 artist resident Anne-Charlotte Finel. With the creation of Une Autre Empreinte – Dahinden Photo Prize aims to promote artistic creation, eco-conception in the art world, and to raise awareness of environmental issues among a wide audience.
Taschen highlights several new projects including Ice Cold. A Hip-Hop Jewelry History, Mario Testino’s, I Love You, and Christo and Jeanne-Claude. L’Arc de Triomphe, Wrapped. MUUS Collection reveals Rosalind Fox Solomon: The Early Work, a selection of never-before-seen works made in Alabama between 1972 and 1976. Chloé Curates presents Leigh Johnson, who from the distinctive point of the viewfinder shares a series of guilelessly straightforward and off kilter images. And Fundacion Amigos del museo del Prado presents Dialog at the Prado Museum a retrospective of almost a century of Spanish art celebrating the ongoing relationship between the present and past manifest in the three collections.
